Accountant

Deliver the Hawaiiana Experience to Clients, Property Managers, and Vendors through accurate, timely, and efficient accounting and extraordinary customer care. This position requires executing, and overseeing the processes of detailed Accounting/Accounts Receivable needs for multiple clients, while maintaining a pleasant and professional experience with an awareness for the business needs of each individual client while meeting deadlines. This position requires advanced accounting knowledge, prior multi-client accounting context, customer service, and multi-tasking skills. The Accountant is responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements; day-to-day processing and auditing of accounting transactions; maintaining accounting records in the administration of financial activities; financial record keeping procedures; interpreting and applying auditors’ instructions and management’s policies; and performing complex special projects.

Administrative Assistant

Performs various administrative and receptionist functions such as semi-repetitive operations following standardized methods and procedures: multi-task in a fast-paced environment; adjust priorities to assist with all levels of personnel and communicate efficiently.  Clerical tasks include but not limited to scanning, faxing, data entry, and processing mail.  Answering telephones and answers questions or convey/routes message to appropriate staff.

Community Association Manager

The Community Association Manager is responsible for managing and supporting a portfolio of community associations in all capacities, such as maintenance, financial, and compliance while emphasizing and delivering superior customer service. Should be able to attend board meetings in the evening and have Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with budgets and reading/understanding financial statements is helpful.  The ability to multitask, organize and maintain projects is part of the essential functions of the position.

HR/Benefits Assistant

Summary Answers employees' questions and records employee enrollment in benefit programs by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Distributes information on and explains benefits programs such as retirement, health, life, TDI, and workers' compensation plans to employees and management.

Investigates and resolves questions regarding delivery and payment for services by contacting health care professionals and other service providers, benefit plan providers, and employees.

Verifies and completes benefits enrollment forms.

Reviews reports from plan providers to verify accuracy and resolve differences.

Enters benefits-related data into computerized human resources information system.

Maintains files of enrollment forms and other documentation.

Sends enrollment information and payment to benefit plan providers and other plan administrators.

Calculates amount of employees' paycheck deductions for benefits, enters in payroll database, and resolves discrepancies.

Produces reports of benefit enrollment, benefit deductions, and plan participation.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Payroll Assistant/Specialist

Duties and responsibilities include processing HOA payroll, maintaining time keeping records, reviewing payroll and payroll reports for accuracy, and maintaining accurate set up and tax filings federally for multiple clients.

Requirements:  Must currently reside in Hawaii. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or two years of college-level coursework in accounting, business or related area is required. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Three years of progressive work experience in complex payroll processing with quarterly and/or annual payroll tax reporting responsibilities.

Compensation Range:

$14 to $18 per hours for Payroll Assistant with less than two years’ related experience

$19 to $24 per hours for Payroll Specialist with at least two years’ related experience

Office Services Assistant

Provide Office support to Administrative Assistants with daily work orders, and responsible for postal functions including: opening, sorting and distributing mail.  Operates office equipment and prepares mail outs for posting and mailing (stuffing, folding, sorting and labeling).  The position also reconciles monthly inventory and assists in the lifting and moving of file boxes.
